SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY

SHIPPING PARCEL RATES IN CANADA

We ship regular sized parcel by Canada Post, UPS, Purolator with a flat rate of $18. Accessory order over $199 ship free, excluding kayaks.  A tracking number is supplied for each shipment. We do not ship to PO Boxes.

Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. Most orders are shipped from St-Hubert, QC and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times shown. Isolated and rural areas may take longer. Please allow 2-12 days to receive your goods.

KAYAK/SUP SHIPMENT IN CANADA
Hard-sided kayak shipping:

  • Kayaks are shipped for $250, paid at checkout.

Some rural postal codes are excluded along with territories of the Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. 

  • Please allow 25 business days* from order placement. Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays.   This is the amount of time it takes for us to schedule the pick-up to leave our warehouse and deliver it to you.  Packaging may require extra time to prepare your kayak.
  • Once it leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with tracking information and an estimated delivery time.  
  • We reserve the right to refuse/cancel any order if we cannot for the above reasons ship to you in which case you will be notified and be refunded immediately. 

*Delivery carriers may be experiencing delays. Boutique BorealDesign is not liable for delays from carriers once the order has been given to the delivery carrier. Please contact the carrier directly for additional information.

FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

  • Pickup your order at our store for free along with Kayak / SUP purchases. 
  • The pickup address is 3600 1st Street, suite 30, St-Hubert, Quebec, Canada, J3Y8Y5
  • We offer limited tracking for in-store pickup orders. Usually goods will be ready to pickup within 3 working days of your order. You can show up before but you may need to wait. We will email you when your order is ready for pickup and you will need to bring picture ID to collect your parcel. For more information on the status of an in-store pickup order, please contact the store directly at boutique@kayakdistribution.com .  

RETURNS

  1. We accept returns for a period of 15 days from purchase (both in-store and online purchases).
  2. In-person returns can be done at the Boutique 3600 1st Street, suite 30, St-Hubert, Quebec, Canada, J3Y8Y5
  1. Items must be in a new condition, not show any use or wear, must have the retail packaging intact, and must be returned with all originally included parts and accessories, along with sales receipt. 
  2. Once your returned item is received and inspected by our team, your refund will be processed (less any original shipping fees) and minus a 20% restocking fee. If the product is found to be in poor condition, or if any originally included parts or accessories are missing, the amount of your refund will be reduced.
  1. Customers are responsible for shipping fees to send the item back to us. 
  2. Liquidation, clearance, used and blem (small imperfections) item sales are final ”as is, where is”. We will not accept returns, exchanges or credit on these items.
  3. Product information such as images and descriptions may vary slightly from the actual product. In the case of used and blem products, the color may not be accurate as we do not track colors for these sorts of products. Please contact the store directly if you require this information.   1. Boutique BorealDesign is not responsible for any shipping fees, nor refund of shipping fees, associated with a customer refusing delivery of their kayak order. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure they or the person they purchased the kayak for are there at the shipped-to-address to receive the delivery from the shipping carrier, or have someone authorized to accept delivery on behalf of the customer according to shipping carrier policy. If a kayak delivery is refused by the customer and is returned to Boutique BorealDesign, we have the right to charge the customer another shipping fee to re-ship the kayak.
  1. We reserve the right to refuse/cancel any order for whatever reason. You will then be refunded immediately.


CANCELLATION
  
You may cancel your order for a full refund before it has been prepared for shipment at warehouse.  You may email us at boutique@kayakdistribution.com to see if your order can still be cancelled.  After an order has been packaged and scheduled for pick up with freight company you will no longer be able to cancel your order.  At this point you will have to return your order once you receive it.
